Board Members
The mission of University Hospitals Authority and Trust is to be a catalyst for medical excellence, to support medical education and clinical research and to assure the best care available to all Oklahoma citizens. The mission is accomplished in part by maintaining a central alliance with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and through the Joint Operating Agreement between University Hospitals Trust and OU Medical Systems by maximizing utilization of state and federal resources to ensure a dependable source of revenue for growth and development.

G. Rainey Williams, Jr.

Chairman

G. Rainey Williams, Jr. joined the board in 2018, appointed by Governor Mary Fallin.

He is president of Marco Capital Group, A Limited Partnership, a privately owned investment partnership operating in Texas, Oklahoma and the Southwestern United States., and Kestrel Investments, Inc., an entity under the common control of Williams and Marco. Marco has been an active private investor over the last 25+ years, investing well in excess of $25 million in a broad number of private equity, real estate and other alternative investments.

Jim Everest

Vice-Chairman

Jim Everest joined the board of the University Hospitals Authority and Trust in 2005, appointed by state House of Representatives.  He was elected Vice Chairman in January 2007.

Everest is a partner of Everest Brothers and White Tail Farm, as well as President of the Jean I. Everest Foundation.

Anthony F. Keating, III

Secretary

Anthony Francis “Chip” Keating III, 39, has been a principal with Keating Investments, a real estate and oil and gas investment company, since March 2010. He is also a General Partner of Energy 11, L.P. and Energy Resources 12, L.P., both public, non-traded upstream oil and gas partnerships.

He currently serves as a board member and immediate past president of The Children’s Hospital Foundation, Secretary of University Hospitals Authority Trust appointed by the Pro Temp of the Oklahoma State Senate and a director of OU Medicine, Inc. Mr. Keating is also a Director and Gubernatorial appointee of The Oklahoma Law Enforcement Retirement System.

Jason R. Sanders, MD, MBA

Member

Jason R. Sanders, MD, MBA, became a board member with the University Hospital Authority and Trust in June of 2015 after being named Interim Senior Vice President and Provost of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Becky Pasternik-Ikard

Member

Becky Pasternik-Ikard joined the board of the University Hospitals Authority and Trust in October 2016 following her appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.

Pasternik-Ikard has been with the agency for 20 years. Previously, Pasternik-Ikard served the agency as a member of the executive leadership team as the State Medicaid Director.

Randy Dowell

Non-Voting Member

Randy Dowell serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the University Hospitals Authority and Trust. He was the Chief Financial Officer prior to his current appointment.

Before joining UHAT, he served the Oklahoma State Senate for seventeen years in numerous roles including Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Staff and Fiscal Staff Director.
